The 7 Wonders of Life Insurance #LIAM

Life Insurance...
1. Buys time – Allows loved ones to focus on their grief by helping to pay for the funeral
and other final expenses.
2. Provides a fresh start – Lets loved ones start with a clean slate by helping to pay off
credit card bills, outstanding loans and even the mortgage.
3. Generates income – Helps replace lost income for years to come so that surviving
family members can continue to pay for life’s necessities.
4. Offers flexibility – Gives a surviving spouse the chance to take time off from work or
to switch to a job that offers a more flexible work schedule.
5. Creates opportunities – Can provide funding to start a business, or pay for schooling
so surviving family members can train for a new career.
6. Funds the future – Offers a way to fund longer-range goals like a college education for
the kids or a secure retirement for a surviving spouse.
7. Leaves a legacy – Gives parents the chance to leave future generations with the
legacy of long-term financial security.

Gay Fair at the Square October 3rd from 1-5pm. Free Portland Gay Men's Chorus Performance!

Gay Fair at the Square

"A Coming Out Celebration for the LGBT Community'

October 3, 2009, 1pm-5pm

Pioneer Courthouse Square

Do you know someone who is considering coming out, newly out, new to town, or simply looking to expand their horizons?  Please encourage them to attend this celebration and information fair.

The Portland Gay Men's Chorus is sponsoring Gay Fair at the Square, an afternoon of music and conversation with many of Portland's LGBT non-profit groups, on Saturday, October 3, 2009.  The informational fair will take place at Pioneer Square from 1pm to 5pm.

The 125 member Chorus will perform selections from our recently recorded CD On Broadway, plus other favorites from our repertoire at 3:00pm. This is the kickoff event for the Chorus' new season, "30 Years of Opening Hearts and Minds."

Gay Fair at the Square will showcase the best of Portland's LGBT community.  Dozens of groups, including Cascade Aids Project, GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network), the Q Center, gay sports and arts groups, social and student groups and many others will have representatives and informational booths on the Square.

Preceding National Coming Out Day on October 11th, Gay Fair at the Square is intended to provide information about many of the activities, and non-profit groups, available to Portland's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered community. The afternoon will be an enlightening opportunity for those who are considering coming out, newly out, new to town, or simply looking to expand their horizons.

For additional information contact PGMC at 503-226-2588

The Portland Gay Men's Chorus aspires to expand, redefine, and perfect the choral art through eclectic performances that honor and uplift the gay community and affirm the worth of all people.
